WIX PIX Productions was started in 1974 by Dale E. Wicks and his wife, Rebecca McAneny Wicks. Dale is a Vietnam veteran with a Masters Degree in Communications Media. He began his career by producing 16mm films, then moved into TV News, where he directed live newscasts and produced numerous features. He also taught Photojournalism at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.

Rebecca McAneny Wicks is a former teacher with on-air broadcast news experience. Together they built WIX PIX into a respected, award-winning media production company.

Over the years WIX PIX wrote, shot and edited thousands of TV commercials, instructional programs, and PR pieces. The firm served hospital systems and health care providers in Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Massachusetts. A major part of the business was developing technical training videos for the railroad industry. WIX PIX is proud to have served national clients such as GE Transportation and Pep Boys, as well as many successful local and regional businesses and advertising agencies in western and central Pennsylvania.

At one time there were a dozen full time employees at WIX PIX, including talented writers, videographers and editors, plus a gifted computer artist-animator, a skilled interactive media programmer, and an outstanding expert in commercial photography.

Today WIX PIX is downsized as Dale and Rebecca have approached retirement age, but not lost the desire to continue helping businesses and non-profits to communicate clearly and effectively. Dale writes, shoots and edits high quality videos and TV commercials. He consults for a number of long-standing WIX PIX clients. He is also a cancer survivor, choir director at his church, and lover of musical theater and all things TV.

Rebecca develops and maintains websites , social media, and printed materials for a number of local firms and non-profits. She enjoys the creative challenges, and truth be told, the friendships that have come from working closely with so many different clients. From colleges to elementary schools, food distributors to supermarkets and sub shops, from our local Blind Association to banks and utilities, WIX PIX has produced many, many successful projects.

Over the years WIX PIX has been honored with numerous professional accolades, including national Telly, Summit and Videography Awards.
